Jason “Jolly” Herrick
Jolly is the brain and the uh muscle of this operation. He makes the ice cream. He hauls the ice cream around. He’s the one wearing the top hat in the ice cream trailer most of the time.
Jolly has years of personal experience making ice cream using different methods and ingredients. He even attended Ice Cream University. Yes, it’s a real thing, and studied at the Carpigiani company taught by Malcolm Stoggo, who has over 30 years of experience in the ice cream industry.
In another life, Jolly was a successful software engineer working in and around Silicon Valley. His experience with system thinking and problem-solving has proven to be invaluable for Jolly’s Old-Fashioned Teas Cream’s success.
Vanessa “Essie” Greene
Essie is the other half of the operation. If you like our trailer and think we have a nice logo, Essie made it. Chocolate smoke? Yep, Essie came up with that one too. Black Sugar Bubble Milk Tea? No Essie, Jolly already thought of it. Still, Essie has been extremely involved in the business and continues to tell Jolly of all her awesome ideas.
Ever the student, Essie is training to be a master tea sommelier and is educating herself on the art of tea and all its subtle complexities.
In another life, Vanessa was an award-winning creative director and she brings all that know-how and imagination to tell the Jolly’s Teas Cream brand story.
